Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Textile Design Engineers for a hybrid contract opportunity in Batesville, IN.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing engineering analysis, design and verification to requirements, for small to medium projects and/or designated segments of larger complex projects in a specific engineering discipline for an assigned functional area.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Generally, 2-4 years of experience (no minimum).
o Strong organization and communication skills.
o Proficient problem solving.
o Adaptable to change
o Design experience utilizing textile material and foam and their specifications would be an asset but not required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Applies technical competencies and knowledge to solve problems of a routine nature, or improve upon existing designs or processes.
o Designs and coordinates research and test to validate, analyze and solve technical problems.
o Applies new technical tools and concepts under the direction of others.
o Documents status and results accurately and succinctly, and with purpose.
o Seeks input from more experienced individuals to improve quality of deliverables
o Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or local equivalent of same; generally, 2-4 years of experience (no minimum). Education must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
First Shift, Full Time
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
