Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an SMT Operator for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

There is an opportunity to be hired full-time with the client.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
2-3 years of related work experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates through-hole or surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies. Responsible for set-up, operations and routine maintenance. Manually or using semi-automatic equipment screen print solder paste. Operate adhesive dispensing equipment. Loads components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and loads feeders onto placement equipment. May hand place some SMT components. Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens. May use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux and adhesive). Utilize drawings, visual aids and other instructions to identify defects.
Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly. Performs semi-routine SMT, Inspection and AOI equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment and utilizes other Surface Mount Technology equipment such as X-RAY, Stencil Printing, etc.


REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 2nd Shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
