Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Laborer I for a contract opportunity in Marysville, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Operation of machinery/equipment used to press and stretch the honeycomb core hobes.
Includes but not limited to the heat presses, stretcher, heat set ovens, overhead hoist, and forklift (training provided).
Basic housekeeping and machine maintenance.
Achieve the required production rates and meeting the quality specifications for the specific materials being produced.
Safe handling/storage of the materials/equipment.
Completion of production documentation.
Active participation in operational improvement activities.
Willing to cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Other task as needed and flexibility is key.
Willingness to work overtime is required. This will include weekends.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Have a sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.
Read, understand, and follow procedures set forth in specifications and work instructions.
Familiar with metric and standard units of measure.
Familiar and have ability to use basic tools (ratchet, wrench, razor knife, measuring tape, electric drill)
Ability to communicate, read and write in English. Legible handwriting/printing.
Respirators may be required in certain conditions (training provided).
Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time Monday-Friday 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
