Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler II for a contract opportunity in Suwanee, GA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
o Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers.)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
o Work in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.
o Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials.
o Help ensure inventory is stored properly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
o Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
