Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Microelectronic Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• High School diploma
• Able to lift 30-40 pounds
• Computer-literate
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Microelectronics Technician 2 to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department you'll work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers.
Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review.
Start up systems being used for the day. Perform daily calibrations. Run tools for the day's task. Learn/practice on any new tools that were recently acquired.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Semiconductor Wafer handling
• Cleanroom experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 work week. 1st shift- 5:00AM to 2:30PM
: Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
