Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gathers data to support the analysis and verification of process and product baselines. Collects data for product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products. Processes product changes and assists with the documentation and implementation of engineering technical program plans of limited scope and complexity. Gathers data to assist in the analysis of product trades/changes for change proposals. Assists with the documentation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and tools. Gathers customer input data for Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems. Gathers data to assist in the resolution of issues with engineering product structure. Works under close supervision and will be mentored by multiple senior technical group members - Participate in the development and management, and perform limited analysis of process and product baselines - Work under general direction to coordinate and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products - Perform routine analysis of product trades and/or changes and assists in the development of change proposals - Assist with the development and implementation of engineering technical program plans of limited scope including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned Successful candidate should have: - Basic understanding of Software Configuration Management - Basic experience with release management planning - Basic experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, others are a plus. - Basic experience creating build systems C++ windows applications, VC++, Hudson is a plus. - Basic knowledge of and experience with Git, Subversion, ClearCase, or any other Software Configuration Management tool in a Windows environment. - Basic understanding of creating automated build environment for iterative development process - Basic ability to operate and develop in Windows environments. - Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English as well as the ability to present complex technical and behavioral topics to diverse groups during conference calls and large meetings - Basic ability to manage multiple high priority tasks with competing priorities - Must be highly organized and detail-oriented Proactively address issues, be a self starter, and coordinate with other SCM and software team members - Basic debugging and trouble-shooting skills, as well as analytical and problem solving skills - Knowledge of general Software Engineering life cycle development methodologies.

EDUCATION:
Recent Engineering College Graduate with Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics desired.

Full time/First Shift
WORK HOURS:7:00 AM-3:30 PM
