Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Master Scheduler for an opening in Lawrenceville, GA.
The Master Scheduler is responsible for the management of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), by integrating all demand and capacity inputs from S&OP, Sales admin, Program, Workcenter Planning, Customer Services and Operations. The Master Scheduler will update and optimize the MPS on a weekly cadence to meet customer commitments, and ensure its correct adequacy and execution inside the ERP at the Final Assembly Lines (FAL) level. The Master Scheduler will work closely with Operations and provide the Rough Cut Capacity Planning, critical path analysis by program/shipset, shortages analysis on FAL, highlighting any schedule risks and identify and correct any schedule logic deficiencies. The Master scheduler will provide to Operations and Leadership team with an accurate status of progress to date and immediate future planning schedules.
o Translate the S&OP and Demand from both Original Equiment and Customer Services into an optimized production schedule
o Ensure the synchronization of MPS shared by internal customer (ZSF, ZSUS, ZSUK)
o Optimize the utilization of the FAL lines
o Conduct the Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) by collecting capacity constraints from Ops and Workcenter Planers
o Run schedule simulations based on capacity constraints and customer commitments to propose "what if" scenarios to Leadership team
o Maintain the MPS on a weekly basis to provide accurate status to Operations Leadership and the customer
o Execute the validated master schedule into the highest level of ERP (Sales Order or top Work Orders) to ensure material requirements are cascaded
o Verify the accuracy and consistency between the S&OP, MPS and MRP
o Liaise with Program Managers to obtain data required to update the schedules, including remaining work and ECD for plan tasks
schedule critical path analysis, capacity analysis, and the identification and correction of schedule logic deficiencies.
o Run shortage analysis by program/shipsets to assess risks and confirm feasibility of MPS
o Run various reports and adhoc analysis, including planning adherence
o Related tasks as required by the Planning Director
o Prepare and lead the MPS Meetings weekly: notify and define participants, agenda and review previous actions and meeting minutes.
o Establish and maintain the process and management routines for the preparation and maintenance of the MPS, and ensure these processes meet the Client Branch standards
o Improve, deploy and drive MPS Tool Requirements, to ensure automated interfaces between S&OP and ERP and simulation capability
o Manage the resources allocated to support the realization of the RCCP, shortage analysis, MPS and its execution into the ERP
o Clean and organize work areas

3 years as Master Scheduler minimum, 5 years in Production Planning
Strong experience with complex planning. Strong understanding of MRP concepts. APICS certification is a plus
Experience in an Engineering To Order (ETO) environment, preferably in aerospace.
Familiarity with Project Management fundamental and Phase Gated Project Lifecycle is required.
Experience as Project Planning & Control experience a plus.
MS Excel (2007 advance user, 2010), proficient with MS Office programs (Office, PowerPoint & Word), ERP systems
Strong analytic mindset, and comfortable with manipulating data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills for extracting the necessary data from development team members. Self-starting, self -reliant and focused.
Bachelor's degree required, engineering degrees a plus. CPIM certification a plus.
