- Chipton-Ross is seeking Aircraft Sealers located in Tulsa, OK.
Assignment will mainly support the aircraft sealing group working in confined spaces (inside bays), lifting less than 25 pounds, bending and twisting at the waist, walking, crawling, crouching, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing/balancing, flexion/extension, contact with sealants and solvents, exposure to noise, working on elevated platforms and the use of personal safety gear for faces, eyes, hand/arms, and ears.
Additionally, performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
Ability to perform the following requirements:
o Lift less than 25 pounds (Occasional lifting of 21-35 pounds), bend and twist at the waist, walk, crawl, crouch, stand for long periods, kneel, reach, climb/balance, flexion/extension
o Contact with sealants and solvents, exposure to noise, working on elevated platforms
o Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hand, and arms as required.
o Read, write, and comprehend the English language
o Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material
o Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities
o Occasional (1 to 3 hrs.) finger manipulation
o On occasion, a 2-person lift may be necessary for weights greater than 50 lbs.
o Frequent reaching overhead (3 to 6 hrs.)
o Frequent balancing on a ladder, steps, or uneven surfaces
o Contact with metals
o Exposure to plastics and solvents to atmospheric conditions
o Frequent exposure to noise
Candidates must have sealing experience inside wing bays.
Experience wtih fay, fillet, overcoat and confined space.
Sealing background MUST show on resume.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
