Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Procurement Assistant for an opening in Mojave, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
TSC is seeking a contract Procurement Assistant to support the purchasing teams administrative tasks of the company. You will be responsible for performing data entry and upload, support/lead small projects, maintain documentation, and enter information into our MRP/ERP software system in accordance with TSC policies.
Your Mission:
" Perform various types of data entry and upload into Smartsheet and Agile.
" Monitor and coordinate expediting activity, as needed.
" Run reports on current information concerning all phases of procurement.
" Collaborate with Procurement team to monitor quantity and quality of work, review buying activity, and identify process improvements.
" Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
" Strong attemtion to detail.
" Minimum of combined total 3 years of experience in an administrative role is required.
" Ability to document work in progress and maintain effective records.
" Some knowledge of internal and external auditing.
" Experience and strong computer skills using MS Office Suite and various MRP/ERP systems.
" Ability to consistently and accurately perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
" Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
" Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
" Effectively interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience
" Practical approach/ leads by example. Happy to be hands on and work closely with cross?functional teams.
" Knowledge of Oracle EBS or similar ERP/MRP system is a plus
" Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Organized, detail?oriented, and structured approach.
" Incredible energy and passion with a resourceful attitude.
" Self?motivated. Enjoys working independently and as a team.
" Ability to react to change and thrive in a fast paced start?up environment.
" Flexible and adaptable.
" Knowledge of FAR/DFAR a plus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
