175271 - Senior Electrical Engineer - WA - OM
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an opening in Redmond, WA.

This role works on all phases of product development from proposal/concept/feasibility to design, test, production, and follow on support. You will work with major space contractors participating in space exploration and in commercial space activities. Utilizing your great communication skills, technical depth, breadth and passion, you will work effectively with multidisciplinary team of mechanical, software, system, project, test, andother engineers to perform the following:
40% - Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulation, and worst case analysis.
20% - Bring up, verify, and debug circuits.
10% - Perform proposals, feasibility studies, trade studies, and proof of concept work.
10% - Create schematics and oversee circuit board layout.
10% - Develop and execute test plans.
10% - Develop process improvements and training/mentoring to other engineers.

Great communication skills, technical depth, breadth, and passion will enable you to work effectively with cross functional (electrical, mechanical, software, system, test) product development teams.; Must be a self-starter with a proven record of performance doing design work.; Previous avionics design experience and knowledge specifically of power supplytopologies is strongly preferred.; A demonstrated understanding of DoD/NASA engineering processes, materials, analysisand manufacturing is preferred.; Must possess strong technical writing and effective presentation skills.; Experience with Rocket Engines and Space Rated Avionics components and systems area plus.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.

Accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering (orrelated engineering/scientific discipline) and at least five years of design related experience.
