Chipton-Ross is seeking a Web Software Developer for an opportunity in Chantilly, VA.

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Web Software Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's FBI program. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and/or maintain operating systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, assemblers, and utility programs.
Modify existing software and create special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
Provide support to develop web-based applications including online customer service to transform Government agencies to be able to deliver their services online.
Provide support in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the web-site.
Provide support for the implementation of interfaces to applications.

This requisition may be filled at either a level: Developer or Principal.
For Developer level: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience.
For the Principal level: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience.
An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree (Developer: Total of 6 years relevant experience. Principal Level: Total of 9 years relevant experience).
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Must have specialized experience including system security analysis and implementation; secure system engineering and/or design, design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems computer networking technology and work in a protocol and/or interface standards.
Must have experience with software engineering; program design and implementation; configuration management; or maintenance, integration or testing, and information system engineering, analyst or software experience.
Demonstrated expertise and skill in applying advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the agency.
Able to provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
Able to present recommendations for adoption of new methodologies and lead implementation.
Working knowledge and experience with coding in Java is required.
Preferred Qualifications - Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience with AJAX, JavaScript, JAVA, PERL, Python, Hyper Text Markup Language
Experience with UI/UX and creating single page applications using libraries such as (eg. Angular JS, React JS, Vue JS etc.).
Experience with API's (eg. REST, SOAP XML, etc.).

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required.
School must be accredited.

5/40 workweek
