- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst for an opportunity in North Charleston, SC
Compiles and analyzes financial information for various government contracts. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and provides in-depth variance analysis for various contracts.
Knowledgeable on budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and cost estimates to include experience in EAC/ETC and trend analysis. Performs accounting and analytical tasks to include account reconciliation, funding tracking and profit/loss analysis. Capable of a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and high level of accountability. Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve issues independently.
General knowledge of government contract management procedures and government contracting processes. Can follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Can work under tight deadlines. Excellent Excel skills required. Excellent excel and analytical skills required.
Accredited bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
