Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Coordinator A for an opportunity in Jacksonville, FL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Cecil Field Production Control/Material's Management team in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a team player with a positive attitude to process and move production materials into and out of storage, to various shop floor locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. The candidate selected will be supporting the F/A-18 modification and repair program and will be required to work with on-site Operations (internal Customers). At times will need to support other programs as required or as business needs arise. Candidate will be working in the Government On-Line Data (GOLD) system and must maintain accurate inventory and monitor their own work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established processes or procedures. Coordinates with various functions to support priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Computer skills desired, particularity with Excel. Will be working in variable work conditions in a shop environment and will need to operate industrial trucks and/or forklifts. Must be detailed oriented, efficient and able to work in a fast paced environment. Majority of time will be expected to support the shop floor, line walks and performing material handling functions, if necessary, which will require walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 35 lbs. Works under minimum supervision and with other support and operations personnel.

Additional information:
o Hours of operation are - 0600-1430. May have to support alternate work hours based on business needs.
o At times may be required to work overtime during the week and/or weekends.
o Experience in order and supply management, particularly in the GOLD system.
o May be required to stock and maintain inventory levels of typical shop hazardous materials such as sealants, solvents, etc.
o Professional and positive customer service both internally and externally is key.
o Clear and concise communication necessary, both written and verbal.
o Good organizational skills needed in both office and shop floor environment.
o Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products as needed.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Will need to be available to work overtime and may need to support 2nd shift, as required. Security Clearance required post-start.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
