" Performs a variety of DrivMatic, riveting and structural assembly operations
" Performs structural assembly, riveting and inspection operations of major components and assemblies
" Approves and stamps acceptable assemblies that meet specifications and reject assemblies that do not meet requirements
" Assures quality conformance to company/customer requirements and specifications. Responsible for assuring final quality acceptance of installations, configuration and operational response of mechanical systems, structures, components and controls.
" Adheres to all applicable safety and operational procedures and directives
" Brings to the attention of supervision/lead, and documents all malfunctions, defects and damages of equipment, material and product
" Keeps work areas clean and orderly
" May be required to perform other duties as needed
" Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft sheet metal and/or equivalent structural assembly
" Understands engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, operation sheet, procedures, work sheets and verbal instructions
" Structural assembly, riveting and inspection operations of major components preferred
" Previous experience operating numerical control (NC) Drivmatic Riveting Machines, manual riveting machines or with robotics preferred
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
