Chipton-Ross is seeking a Credit and Collections II for an opening in Walton, KY.
Accountable for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of collection techniques, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.
Create and maintain credit history files; Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of account/client using external credit risk management tools/reports; support the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio; document daily collections activity; research account disputes and billing discrepancies; Perform account/payment reconciliations; Respond to credit inquiries from external and internal clients; dentify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts; Identify bad debt or financial exposure.
3-6 years experience.
Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience. Entry level often for those with work experience in the skill area. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
M-F, 8AM - 5PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
