- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Developer, Systems Software, Journeyman for an opportunity in Point Mugu, CA
Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Between 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.
Accredited BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
