- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA
The applicant will be responsible for developing, testing and integrating Object Oriented C++ software, utilizing design patterns with GitLab, VXWorks, Jira, in real time HWIL avionic systems. Candidate should have experience writing software that develops and utilizes telemetry to test vehicle management systems utilizing Gyros, Guidance, Navigation and controls with flight systems. Candidate will take documentation of program system capabilities and transpose those capabilities into an integrated embedded air vehicle system. The candidate can interface with adjacent organization i.e. Guidance, Navigations and Controls, Flight systems, Sub Systems and Systems Engineering to resolve questions of program intent and taking that intent and using advance programming techniques to develop an integrated HWIL system. Excellent oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.
C++, Embedded, HWILL, AGILE, experience developing/writing COMM/NAV Avionics Software
Accredited BS+11 YRS or MS+9 YRS
