Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tool Maker Associate for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position involves dispositioning production tools to ship back to the owner or to scrap. Position is primarily tool repair, cleaning, crating, etc, but also involves basic warehouse/expediting tasks. The Tool Maker Associate executes all work assigned by the team lead.
Pull tooling from racks, perform minor rework or scrap, staging, possibly building wooden shipping containers and loading tools on trucks to ship.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Current or previous successful metal fabrication experience strontly preferred. Welding experience strongly preferred.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to follow instruction, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, company procedure manuals and blueprints.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
