Chipton-Ross is seeking a Hand Mill Operator for an opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembles aircraft interior electrical components, harnesses, connectors, etc. using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.
Assemble wire harnesses, electrical control modules, electrical connectors and other electrical assemblies or components, using assembly and tool drawings, wiring diagrams, customer and company specifications. Intricate tasks include stripping, crimping, and soldering of wires, use of hand tools and manually operated machines, use of electrical equipment such as heat guns and soldering irons. Confer with quality control inspectors and electrical engineers to resolve assembly problems, incomplete documentation and data interpretation.
" Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
" Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
" Assembles wire harness, electrical control modules, electrical connectors and other electrical assemblies or components, using assembly and tooling drawings, wiring diagrams, customer and company specifications.
" Performs intricate tasks including stripping, crimping and soldering of wires.
" Uses hand tools and manually operated machines, uses electrical equipment such as heat guns and soldering irons.
" Confers with Quality Inspectors, Electrical Engineers and Production Manager to resolve assembly problems, incomplete documentation and data interpretation.
" Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.
" General Notes:
o Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.
o All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of C&D products.
o As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
o Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
0-3 years.
Other Skills: The ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Entry level.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
M-F 1st 6am -2:30pm
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
