- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opportunity in Lexington, KY
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems. Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for military aviation and/or ground vehicles. The applicant will be focused on the electrical wiring and harness assembly diagram design and development. Duties include creating wiring diagrams and harness assembly diagrams, resolving wiring/integration related issues between the various avionics/electrical systems, validating/interpreting/troubleshooting/resolving any wiring related issues, and creates wire routing drawings. Candidate will be part of a team effort to develop aviation and/or ground vehicle wiring from design to installation, to include liaisoning between Electrical Design and Production/Manufacturing to ensure wiring requirements flow from design to installation are processed in accordance to specifications.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or CATIA V5 required.
Aviation experience is preferred but the immediate need is for a ground vehicle project.
Accredited BS+6-10 YRS or MS+4-8 YRS
