- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Electronics Technician Maintenance I for an opportunity in Lexington, KY
The Electronics Technician I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as building simple electronic equipment, fabricating wire harnesses and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, semiconductor testers. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
Experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools. and applicable test equipment. Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals.
Accredited BS+0-2 YRS
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
This is a C-Shift position working Thursday thru Sunday 0600 to 0430.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
