- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Clerk for an opportunity in Urbana, OH
Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution. Organizes warehousing for goods. Reviews inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied. Plans and schedules inbound and outbound shipments to internal or external customers based on needs. Acts as liaison between customers, freight carriers and shipping department. Ensures on-time delivery of goods to customers, by investigating and resolving detention issues. Assists is cost control by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting most cost-efficient method of shipment within Department of Defense guidelines. Provides logistics support of Urbana plant consolidation. Creating and validating tooling manifest. Oversee material packaging of tooling and master parts for the move. Unpacking and relocating tooling and master parts. Records system updates for new tool locations.
Typically 3- 5 years experience.
Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. Steel toed shoes required. Experienced use of Microsoft Office.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
7 am to 3:30 pm
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
