Chipton-Ross is seeking a Detailer for an opportunity in
Huntington Beach, CA

Guides, assists and supports co-workers and performs repetitive assembly operations. Applies sealant to compartment panels; brushes paint to cover scratches, chips, or repairs in final detail of production units; fills damaged decor; removes all excess glue and scuff marks from panels; cleans all panels, extrusion, and trim; follows-up on inspection non-conformities by performing the following duties.
Promotes cooperation and communication with co-workers.
Prepares area for preparation of painting, cleaning, or touch-up.
Applies thin, even coat of paint to sanded area.
Fills and paints chipped spots with brush.
Removes all excess glue and scuff marks from panels.
Cleans and prepares surface for final inspection.
Applies edge fill and glue per SPS 111.
Applies silicone sealant per SPS 106.
Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
Bonds, screws, glues, or otherwise attaches parts together.
Prepares and organizes tools and parts for use in the manufacturing area.
Works at different workstations as production needs require.
Tasks vary as different units complete certain phases of production.
Follows-up and completes work on inspection non-conformities in a timely manner.
Cleans and maintains tools in the working area.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have a sensitivity to safety regulations and requirements.
Must be able to work within the time constraints dictated by Driessen's agreement to customer requests.
Must know how to read and use a tape measure.
Must be able to self-inspect personal work and correct discrepancies in a timely manner.
Must be able to effectively control and manipulate various pneumatic and manual hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, clamps, and pliers.
Must be able to read/understand Engineering Drawings and perform work with little or no supervision.
Must meet or exceed current training requirements.
Must be willing to be available to assist in other areas of the company, as directed by lead or supervisor.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Full-Time/1st 6am -2:30pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
