Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Accountant 1 for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support projects that move processes into the next generation using technology including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning while applying creative problem solving skills. Testing of system changes as needed and make recommendations for improvements. Assists with maintaining and documenting effective internal controls and processes. Works with the team to identify accounting system issues. Supports internal and external auditors related specifically to job function. Assists with reviewing and analyzing relevant accounting source documents. Assists with reviewing and analyzing company directives to guide and make recommendations regarding accounting policies and practices in regards to finance systems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Analytical Ability - Intermediate Level
Communication Skills - Intermediate Level
Detail oriented - Intermediate Level
Audit Experience - Novice Level
Demonstrate Technical and Creative Skills - Intermediate Level

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience with electronic travel and business expense reporting systems or other finance system experience.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.
