Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler for an opportunity in Greenville, SC

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations. May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment

Also have the knowledge to pick and put away parts by associated number.
Organize stock bins by location and perform cycle counts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Warehouse 1-2 years and Inventory Contril 1-2 years.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Parts and Inventory Management <1 year
Not required to drive forklift, but may need to be certified at a later date.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift, 9/80A
Some overtime maybe required

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
