Chipton-Ross is seeking a Principal Industrial Engineer for an opportunity in Lake Charles, LA.
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Industrial Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Analyzing and designing sequencing of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies at suppliers.
Establishing methods for maximum utilization of production processes and personnel.
Participate in assessment of suppliers and all phases of production operations.
Conducts studies pertaining to supplier production control, work flow, cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
Based on the results of the above mentioned studies the successful candidate will recommend develop and implement plans and programs, modifications and revisions to operating methods.
B.S. degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) plus at least 5 years of relevant experience or a Master Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrate experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Able to work in both external and internal environmental conditions.
Manufacturing experience with offsite suppliers.
Demonstrate ability to analyze supplier manufacturing capability and characteristics.
B.S. degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or Master Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
