Chipton-Ross is seeking a Human Resources Analyst for an opening in Rancho Cordova, CA.
This position supports the enterprise-wide Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure coursework and course participants are set up in the system and serves as a primary point of contact for LMS users. Will also entail LMS support for the Learning team, including issue escalation to the HRIS team and development of system learning aids; creating and enforcing internal processes for LMS coursework administration; and producing and reviewing reports for training sponsors.
45% - Support other LMS users / sites; Work with users to explain functionality of LMS across all sites; Manage user questions within a queue, keeping to standardized SLAs; Maintain a patient, encouraging demeanor, providing responsive and accurate solutions; Support Learning Team projects including coordination and documentation for LMS aspects of the project, helping to ensure deadlines are met.
25% - Maintain data integrity rules and processes for the LMS such as course codes, descriptions, etc.; Help develop business processes, manage system utilization, and address reporting questions; Help identify LMS issues and escalate to the HRIS team as necessary; Support configuration changes for the LMS; Administer user access and configure system settings such as learner domains, roles, notifications, and business rules in support of defined business processes; Upload and configure training content and activities; Set up instructor-led training (ILT) and online courses, assign training curriculums, enter transcript information, and craft and maintain email notifications; Configure training to meet business needs – including standardized or custom solutions
20% - Partner with the HRIS team to manage LMS Reporting; Audit compliance training, monitor and edit data; Ensure reports are prepared and developed for management; Use LMS reporting features to perform analysis and communicate information about the LMS to other business teams; Support others in developing and using LMS reports.; Develop BIDS Reports as needed; Evaluate new LMS functionality and features in LMS, including testing and providing training; Participate in LMS software validation activities
10% - Communication; Serve as the main point of contact and system expert for users and coordinate communications regarding system upgrades, changes, and corporate training initiatives/projects; Performs additional duties as assigned, including but not limited to, assisting in various other projects with the Human Resources department.
3 years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

One to two years of experience in LMS administration Experience with the Oracle and/or Cornerstone LMS preferred Proficiency in Oracle Reporting OBIEE preferred Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of learning practices preferred Proficient in using a database and excellent knowledge of database structure (Oracle DB preferred)
Accredited Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
