Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for an opening in Orlando, FL.
Software Engineer to develop signal and image processing detection capabilities for a sensor suite. The selected candidate will coordinate with a system engineering team to integrate algorithms into C++ applications. The candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. The candidate must have experience with Linux and Windows Visual Studio. The candidate must have experience with software configuration management, full software life-cycle development, and can work with multi-disciplined teams. It is desirable that the candidate have experience with LASER control and familiarity with communication protocols such as TCP/UDP, RS-232, and RS-422.
Experience with C/C++ with Linux and Windows Visual Studio. Experience in software coding, unit test, integration, and verification. Experience with Software integration. Excellent communication skills.

Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
9/80, 1st Shift
