Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronic Technican for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA

" Accurately troubleshooting faults in electronic circuits and mechanical systems using various types of test equipment e.g., Special Test Equipment "STE", Automated Test Equipment "ATE", data analyzers, microprocessors emulators, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters
" Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and modifications to avionics equipment's
" Perform preliminary analyses, alignments, light to moderate troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronics at a level that meets or exceeds the expected productivity.
" Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, ISO procedures, and Teledyne Controls policies and procedures
" Inspects all assigned maintenance articles being worked and replacement materials for defects and proper identification
" Perform repair rework using solder equipment to acceptable IPC J-STD specifications as needed

" Mandate to participate in the FAA Anti-drug and alcohol testing in compliance with 49 CFR part 40 and 14 CFR part 120
" Must be a US Person due to ITAR restrictions
" Must be able to troubleshoot to board/component level analog/digital with some assistance
" Must be able to read and interpret production illustrations (PI), component maintenance manual (CMM), wiring diagrams and schematics
" Read, Speak, Write and understand the English language (FAA requirement)
" Recent IPC-A-610 class 2 soldering preferred
" Understanding of the FAA regulations preferred

Accredited Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year of accredited schooling in aviation electronics; a minimum of three (3) years of Electronic Technician experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.

Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
