Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 for an opportunity in Warner Robins, GA.

Fabricates, assembles, and disassembles electronic subassemblies and troubleshoots to determine cause and remedy for malfunction to component level.
Performs routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.
Performs calibration checks on electronic instruments.
Work involves use of practical electronic theory and basic tools as well as the ability to work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches and verbal instructions.
Performs duties with minimal supervision.
Collects data to help develop and improve test and repair processes.
Works with engineering and management to determine the root cause of failures of electronic parts.
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Must have an Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 4 years of electronics / electrical repair experience to component level (I-Level, Back Shop, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of military avionics system depot repair experience.
Knowledge of RF circuitry operation.
Computer skills including proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Must have an Associate's degree OR appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) IS required.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek. Must be able to work 2nd shift: M-TH from 3:00p-12:30a / 1st F - 3:00p-11:30p / 2nd F - OFF.
