Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Principal Composite Structural Design Engineer for an opportunity in Melbourne, FL.
Candidate will be responsible for structural design of primary and secondary composite and metallic aircraft structural parts and assemblies for both new and existing aircraft.
Candidate will work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, interfacing with IPT leadership, suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines.
Candidate may participate in on-site support at product manufacturing and integration sites.
Must have 9 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; or 4 Years with PhD. (Will consider additional years of experience/education in lieu of degree).
Proficiency with the NX-TeamCenter tool suite and the ability to independently prepare and lead the preparation of product build packages is essential.
Experience designing composite aircraft primary structure.
Proficiency with NX solid modeling software.
Proficiency with TeamCenter PLM software.
Proficiency with FiberSim composite definition software.
Bachelors in Science, Masters, PhD. (Will consider additional years of experience/education in lieu of degree).
Bachelor of Science degree in STEM is preferred.
School must be accredited.
