Chipton-Ross is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer for an opportunity in Huntsville, AL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates, tests, monitors, and maintains information security policies, procedures and systems such as hardware, firmware, and software. Ensures security design, controls, and procedures are aligned with information security standards and are appropriate to mitigate risk of exposure. Identifies security violations, determines cause, and implements procedures to prevent future incidents. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
