Chipton-Ross is seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

General Back Office Duties:
o Obtain medical history, interview and educate clients ensuring informed consent.
o Obtain vital signs (blood pressure, height, weight, etc.).
o Accompany clients during procedures, as necessary.
o Assist nurses by performing non-invasive exams such as hearing, eye and pulmonary function tests.
o Assist the employee in preparation for examination.
o Prepare lab slips.
General Front Office Duties:
o Greet and assist all patients and visitors, whether in-person or by telephone.
o Schedule, reschedule, cancel, or confirm patient appointments in a timely manner to maximize scheduling for patient volume.
o Register patients and compile complete and accurate information.
o Prepare and assemble charts, copy, transfer, and scan as needed.
o Maintain effective patient flow to assist in prompt treatment of patients.
o Keep records and process medical billing.
o File medical charts.
o Input injury info / claims into database(s) as requested.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate is required.
Minimum one (1) to two (2) years' experience in a clinical setting.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate is required.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
