Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Clerk for an opportunity in Coon Rapids, MN

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution. Organizes warehousing for goods. Reviews inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied. Plans and schedules inbound and outbound shipments to internal or external customers based on needs. Acts as liaison between customers, freight carriers and shipping department. Ensures on-time delivery of goods to customers, by investigating and resolving detention issues. Assists is cost control by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting most cost-efficient method of shipment within Department of Defense guidelines.
The position responsibilities include locating and tagging capital and expense assets, adding data to a Excel file, and providing the data for upload into the record system. Oversee the packaging and crating of assets for shipment, and creating of a manifest for the shipment of assets.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have experience with MS Excel and Outlook software
Career level support level: Typically 3- 5 years experience.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
