Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Information Systems Project Manager 3- IT for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations. Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keeps current on advances in the field of IT. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
This employee may require PEE on occasion: Hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Candidates submitted must have the below prior experience:
• IT network and infrastructure project management
• PMP certification preferred
• Ability to develop and achieve Plans, Objectives, and Milestones

PPE is not required on the first day but will eventually be needed- steel toes, hard hat, safety glasses.
Elevator is located in the primary work location

EDUCATION:
Bachelors in Science, Masters, or PhD is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
7:30AM to 4PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
