- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Designer for an opening in Santa Clara, CA.
- Mechanical design, drafting, and engineering of all product lines
- Support all sub-groups within Operations
- Create, route Engineering Change Orders
-10+ Years’ experience as a mechanical / electromechanical Engineer.
-10+ Years’ experience with Solidworks and PDMworks
-AS or BS in Engineering discipline desired.
-Able to resolve simple to complex mechanical or electro-mechanical challenges
-Experience designing products for DFM
-Experience designing products for GMP for Bio-automation manufacturing highly desirable
-Pro level Solidworks skills required. Solidworks certification desired.
-Must be able to demonstrate use of GD&T
-Must have strong attention to detail.
-Some prior experience writing Engineering Change Orders in Agile desired.
-Able to take direction and complete work with little or no supervision.
-Must be very well organized. Able to keep your own schedule and routinely report on project status.
-On-time delivery of projects and independent project management very desirable.
-Able to make close relationships with internal and external customers/vendors
-Some hands-on experience in a machine shop – light working of metal parts desired.
-Prior experience working in or with Quality Assurance desirable.
Accredited AS or BS in Engineering discipline desired.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
