Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Dental Service Center Call Center Representative I for an opportunity in Gardena, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision will provide telephone support to the insurance carriers call center and Dental Service Center. Process transaction requests such as enrollment applications, plan transfers, premium postings and processing daily mail. Respond to detailed member inquiries regarding the dental and vision plans. Generating documentation to correspond with carriers and members. Responsible for reconciling all carrier accounts monthly with additional accounting duties. Accounting duties include ACH demands, carrier eligibility reports, run and balance premium pool exceptions, and requesting refund checks and plan updates. Support staff and supervisor with monthly eligibility invoices to all insurance carriers and groups.
o Telephone support to both call centers (Dental and Kaiser).
o Generate correspondence to members or potential members.
o Process enrollment applications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
o Maintain and balance check deposits and transfers in accordance with all policies and procedures.
o Prepare and process member requests including, but not limited to, letters, claim investigations, sell plans and programs, and accounting tasks.
o Process transfers, deposits, plan updates, and member correspondence documents.
o Perform a variety of daily office functions (reports, audits, etc.).
o Review and process incoming mail.
o Prepare and process incoming correspondence via email and fax.
o Assist members and referrals by cross-selling dental and vision products and services.
o Provide comprehensive answers to member inquiries regarding other insurance services of NGFCU.
o Interface with Electronic services and IT with ACH demands and pre-notes.
o Audit new applications and deposits.
o Provide support in various areas as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Two years' experience working in a call center or customer service environment.
The ability to exercise patience and prompt resolution in delivering professional high quality customer service.
Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
Efficient member service and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited

HOURS:
9AM to 6PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
