Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Engineerr for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with Aircraft Avionics systems and/or Mission Systems subsystem

Desired skills
Knowledge of RF, EW and/or CNI
Ability to understand and apply electronics engineering principles to development
Experience developing subsystem design/engineering documentation.
A working knowledge of tools for requirements and verification Traceability.
Experience with Agile Methodology
Ability to work with suppliers to generate verification and validation plans
Strong oral written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS in technical discipline and at least one year professional experience

MISCELLANEOUS:

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time, 9/80-A

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
