- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Engineerr for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.
Familiarity with Aircraft Avionics systems and the F-22 communication subsystem
Open System Architecture (OSA) hardware experience
Knowledge of Commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware and implementation
Active F-22 Project Clearances
Familiarity with F-22 Avionics systems, F-22 Vehicle systems and the systems supporting integration and test.
System performance monitoring and evaluation experience.
Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment
Scaled Agile Framework methodology
Software development experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel spreadsheet, scheduling and Database applications;
Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills.
Needs to have the ability to convey technical data and concepts in concise messages and presentations.
Technical leadership skills a plus
Accredited BS Electrical, Computer Engineering or related technical degree from an accredited college.
