- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
Responsibilities will span the technology development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, and integration and flight test.
Responsibilities may span the avionics services, to include ground station development as well as mission systems software technologies. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
software engineer with experience in building real-time, embedded avionics/vehicle management systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient with developing safety-critical components using C and/or C++ in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), writing automated unit tests, and have experience integrating software components in a System Integration Lab (SIL).
C++ or C Experience
Active Secret Clearance
Development of real-time systems or use of real-time operating systems (RTOS), such as Wind River VxWorks or Green Hills Integrity
Object-oriented programming and design
The software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
Integrating hardware and software
Accredited STEM Degree
