- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Engineer for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.
Exp w/ Aircraft Avionics systems and/or the F-16 datalink systems (i.e., IDM, Link 16, MIDS).
Familiarity with Avionics systems, Vehicle systems & the systems supporting integration & test and debug.
Experience with the verification and sell off of a subsystem to a customer through formal test events.
Experience developing subsystem design/engineering documentation.
Experience with Agile Software Development and/or SCRUM processes.

Proficient with MS Office products including Excel spreadsheet, scheduling and Database applications; Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills. Needs to have the ability to convey technical data and concepts in concise messages and presentations.
Accredited BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
