Chipton-Ross is seeking a Computer/Network Client Support Technician for an opportunity in Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

Job Description
KBR requires an AFNET Client Service Support Technician (CST) to support tenant units at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, and other AFLCMC locations. This candidate will be responsible for rapidly setting up new users and providing initial support along with network troubleshooting capability.

Duties include but are not limited to:

•Installing new components into existing systems.

•Installing system software patches and version upgrades.

•Implementing NOTAM, TCNO, IAVM (Information Assurance Vulnerability Management) and security scan vulnerability upgrades and Compliance Reporting.

•Troubleshooting and fixing hardware, Operating System (OS) and Office Automation (OA) problems.

•Escalating trouble tickets

•Find root cause of network latency/outages

•Providing metrics and other support to AFLCMC/OZI for case study

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•Knowledge of networking hardware and troubleshooting

•Access requirements to all unclassified DoD and AF computing systems.

•All IT and Information Assurance (IA) regulatory guidance.

•Must be familiar with security policy/manuals, and other guiding policy documents

Certifications:

CompTIA Security CE to meet 8570 requirements

•Certification as an Information Assurance Manager (IAM Level I) and Information Assurance Training (IAT) Level I requiring certification per DoD 8570.01-M.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience. The position will allow various combinations of education and experience using a 1 year of education for 1 year of experience substitution.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
