Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Occupational Health & Safety Specialist 3 for an opening in Ft. Greely, AK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, implements and monitors occupational heath and safety programs and processes. Develops and provides training and instructions. Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations. Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections. Plans and conducts health and safety audits.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

TRAVEL: YES

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
