Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Assembler for an opening in Simi Valley, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Electrical Assembler performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic assemblies and subassemblies.
This position reports to the Electrical Assembly Supervisor.
Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts and uses hand and/or power tools.

Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.

May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of Five (5) years of experience in electrical assembly is required.
Knowledge of wiring chassis and cables required.
IPC-610 and IPC-620 current or past certification desired.
Must be able to solder and crimp pins for connectors and lugs.
Knowledge of Teflon and PVC type wire and braided shielding is required.
Must be able to read blue print schematics and wire lists.
Must be able to read and understand English.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
