- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA
Flight Test Engineering tasking across multiple ADP programs. On some programs will be the sole Lockheed voice representing flight test Full spectrum of tasking from proposal development through post flight test reporting. Will be required to customize test processes to individual customers and circumstances. Assess prototype aircraft operations for risk and assist in develop appropriate mitigating procedures.
During flight phase will be the primary individual for controlling test execution, configuration management, troubleshooting, and asset scheduling. Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required.
- Flight Test execution experience
- Experience with authoring flight test documentation
- Configuration management experience
- Presentation experience to company and customer audiences
- Experience interfacing with all levels of customer management
-Developmental test program experience
-Test project lead or ship lead experience
-Mission Test Director experience
-Proposal development experience
-Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members
Accredited BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
