Chipton-Ross is seeking a Engineer Systems Test 2 for an opportunity in Melbourne, FL.

The Melbourne Aircraft Design, Engineering and Test Department is looking for passionate and dedicated System Integration Test & Evaluation (SIT&E) Test conductor to join our Lab System Test team in Melbourne, FL. The SIT&E Team is responsible for completing verification of system level hardware and software capabilities developed and integrated for a classified program.
As a test engineer you'll be responsible for level I and level II system verification efforts. You'll utilize your understanding of system test to create test procedures based on Level I and Level II requirements, develop an expert understanding of your assigned subsystems, and utilize test infrastructure to dry run and execute system level verification.
A Laboratory System Test Engineer synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. He/She develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.

Bachelor Degree plus 3 years of Systems Test experience or Masters Degree plus 1 year of experience.
" Perform requirements analysis and decomposition including developing derived requirements as needed to test the system
" Develop test equipment and simulation requirements
" Support Systems engineering to develop Verification Cross Reference Matrices
" Develop Test Planning Detail Sheets
" Develop Test Plans and Detailed Procedures
" Support Test Equipment Checkout and System Integration
" Support Test Execution as First Line Troubleshooter
" Perform as the hardware responsible engineer for the subsystem under test
" Perform technical interactions with the system test team to ensure system requirements are being verified
" Write Test Reports
" Able to collaborate in a team environment
" Understanding of level I and level II system test
" Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2+ years relevant experience OR Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 0+ years relevant experience

Bachelor's Degree.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek.
