- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Writer for an opportunity in Greenville, SC
Client has need for a Technical Publications Illustrator to create technical illustrations for C-130H aircraft Technical Publications. This is an on-going program to develop and author technical illustrations for new Technical Publications for complex military aeronautics systems. The individual will be responsible for developing the illustration portion of military aeronautics technical publications that will include illustrations for C-130H flight manuals, maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts breakdown manuals utilizing technical engineering data from user manuals, operational specifications, engineering technical data and related product technical publications to illustrate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. Will oversee preparation and conduct quality reviews of materials and compiles quality metrics to assess performance. Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering, Production, and Logistics disciplines leading to successfully develop all the illustrations for the technical publications. Familiar with interpretation of Engineering drawings and models and be able to convey through illustrations utilizing Coral Draw as the primary software using illustrative materials, selecting 3D Models, drawings, sketches, diagrams, trade journals and charts. The job entails working under general supervision, develop and field technically accurate and compliant illustrated technical documentation for upgraded aircraft avionics systems.
Experience with Coral Draw is REQUIRED
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Full-Time, 9/80A-1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
