Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for an opportunity in Manassas, VA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
The candidate will support Prep for Ship activities in the Paint/Prep area for all Manassas programs.
Activities will include paint / touch-up of units, preparing unit deliverables for presentation / sell-off to customer, and the coordination and presentation of units for final sell-off to various Navy customers.
This position may have some very light assembly work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Hiring manager is looking for a candidate with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time, 9/80A-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
