Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for an opportunity in Lexington Park, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supports R&D and production efforts in support of the Presidential Helicopter Avionics development contract. It will also support other programs at the Patuxent Engineering Facility as required.

This position will be in the circuit card assembly section of the Patuxent Engineering Facility. The primarily function of this role includes the fabrication of circuit board assemblies using both surface mount and through hole components. It will also require circuit board repair as needed including de-soldering.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five (5) years soldering experience is a requirement.

Desired Skills:
IPC / J-STD-001 Solder Certified.
Experience working with QA personnel.
Familiarity with Shop travelers and production procedures and processes.
Fabrication experience desired

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time, 9/80A-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
