Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 for an opportunity in McClellan, CA.
Reports to Quality Manager works in QA Inspection department.
Accepts or rejects defective or malfunctioning units or systems in the shop floor MRP system.
Works from drawings, documents, diagrams, specifications, inspection instructions and/or checklists.
Will monitor and verify product quality to ensure compliance to Northrop Grumman processes/procedures, drawings, Industry Workmanship standards and customer/Military specifications and requirements.
Working knowledge and 2 or more years' experience in Aerospace - Government Contractor Quality Inspection.
Must have safety shoes and ESD/FOD, IPC-610/620 experience.
Shop Floor and or Product Data Management System (PDM) such as Solumina, Windchill, and SAP experience.
Must be able to articulate, understand and demonstrate a skill set in quality and or mechanical inspection; including industry methods, operations and prescribed specifications for visual inspection of in-process and final completed products such as precision circuit cards, cabling, subassemblies, electromechanical or mechanical assemblies, chassis and systems.
Must have attention to detail, the willingness to learn, the ability to multi-task and self-motivate in fast paced/multi-functional team environment.
Must be skilled with computers (windows platform) operating systems and software (MS Office, Acrobat, FileMaker Pro).
High School degree is required.
School must be accredited.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
